Maintenance and repair methods and precautions for electroplating equipment

(1) Secondary maintenance of electroplating equipment includes:
① Inspect the lining and body of the electroplating tank; Remove corrosion marks on the busbar, replace insulation pads and individual busbar sections.
② Clean cooling water pipes, steam pipes, drainage and overflow pipes, repair or replace pipes and accessories.
③ Measure current leakage and contact resistance.
(2) The content of major maintenance work for electroplating equipment (excluding secondary maintenance):
① If necessary, disassemble all electroplating equipment for maintenance and replace various components; Repair or replace the plating tank body; Replace the insulation layer and protective board.
② Replace damaged pipelines and accessories.
③ Disassemble the regulator for maintenance; Check the worm gear transmission; Check the use of the current meter (DC) shunt device and the AC/DC meter, and replace them if necessary; Check the control circuit and rewire if necessary.
④ Check the voltage resistance performance of thyristor rectifiers or silicon rectifier equipment components, and replace unqualified components; Check the integrity of the cooling device; Inspect the positive and negative pole switch or device, check for burnt edges on the switch blade, and eliminate them.
⑤ Replace the damaged steam heating tube in the slot and repair the suction port; Conduct water pressure tests on all pipelines, etc.
⑥ Paint everything.
