Chongqing Xinzhilun Electroplating Industrial Park has invested heavily in building a sewage treatment station to further highlight the industrial characteristics of the park, allocate resources reasonably, promote industrial agglomeration, enhance the core competitiveness of the industrial economy, and protect the water quality safety of the national level Yutan Reservoir and drinking water sources.
The electroplating wastewater treatment plant in the surface treatment centralized processing zone of Dazu District was completed in 2013. The Chongqing Environmental Protection Bureau passed the environmental protection acceptance of the sewage treatment plant construction project in October 2013 and put it into use. It adopts advanced electroplating production process and sewage treatment system, with a daily sewage treatment capacity of up to 500 tons and a daily recycled water consumption of 3250m3.
